Alex Salmond

The former Scottish first minister has been accused of sexual harassment by a Scottish government staff member. The claims may be true, or they may not be.
Now, I am most certainly no fan of Mr Salmond or the SNP, an ungodly man and political party, however, from what I have read so far there are no witnesses, so it is this woman's word against Mr Salmond. What does God's word say about all this? (not that the SNP or any court in the land now seem to care about it!).

One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses shall a matter be established. Deut. 19.15.

Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. 1 Tim. 5.19.

Can we not see the wisdom in these God breathed words? I realize that Mr Salmond is not a believer, and will hardly be calling on God's Word, but people in high positions shouldn't put themselves in potentially compromising positions, especially in this day and age.
